Thank you so much for the soup recipes! They are much needed this week. Sister Thomson gave us some too when we went to their house a few weekends ago which was so nice.
So you wanted to know about the people we teach. Well we are teaching part of one family. The mom, Gale, and the 10 year old boy, Sam. They contacted us about wanting to read the Bible stories so we took them the New Testament Reader and a Book of Mormon Reader. They were the ones who when we knocked on the door got the Mexican wrestling mask and made faces in the window. We love them. The dad, Hernan, is not interested and the other little kids are 6 and 4 and their parents think they're not interested. BUT we have been going over for a while now, they are really slow moving, but they have fed us dinner a few times and the dad has been coming round more and more when we teach so yay! They even invited us to a hockey game but it was on Sunday so we couldn't go. They like us. We know it. They'll come around.
Also, we started teaching a neighbor of theirs named Donna. She is a mother of 4 and is really excited about our church. So yay! Hopefully she'll keep learning more and we'll add a new family to the ward.
So yay. We have to leave but I wrote Hailey a letter so tell her to watch for it. And what's with Kristin? What about Britney, Katie and the rest of the cousins? Please ask them to write. How are Brian and Carly slash have them draw me some pictures. Or something. Haha I love you guys! Be safe. God lives and loves us. Miracles happen when we have faith.
Sincerely,
Sister Tribe
I made soup! Just guessed and guessed right. Love when that happens.
Sister Terron in all her snow gear.
So a picture story...
On Saturday we get in the car and drive out of our underground parking and lo and behold, it was SNOWING!!!! Just fluffy little stuff, nothing stuck. Sister Terron freaked out! It was her first time seeing snow. She just started shouting, "What do I do? Should I stick my arm out the window? Should I take a picture? What do I do?" So we pulled over in the parking lot across from our apartment building and she ran around and took a million pictures. This is her recreation of her first reaction.
This is a picture of snow flake in my hair to prove it was snowing.
THEN we went to an appointment and while we were there it started snowing more and more! We then went outside and Sister Terron threw her first snowball, built her first snowman and made her first snow angle. It was a great day!
Fin.
When then continued to make snowmen as we went throughout the day, leaving them on people's porches. :)
