Hump day

Well, I'm now in over 9 months. That's weird. I think I'll extend.

No pictures this week because I spent a significant portion of this week sleeping. We were out of commission for a few days due to whatever was going on with my body. So it was a bit of a boring week.

Exciting news, the Young Women, Primary and Relief Society Presidencies got changed on Sunday. Total shocker to everyone! Most of them hadn't been in that long. Great news! Our recent convert of 5 months is the new Young Women's President!!!! What?! That's right! We're so excited! We also got a Ward Mission Leader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Ward Mission Leaders! They are so important. We are lost without them.

I got a fun package from Maegan and Dan for my birthday! They sent me some awesome decorating tape. I'm so excited for my next planner! I also got a letter from Chase! The postage was fine, he can send it straight to me if he wants.

It was Josh's birthday this week! I've been thinking about him and Cami and the boys. I hope they are doing well. I reflect back on the mission advice Josh gave me before the mission and the nuggets I've received since I've been out and I'm so grateful. I really need it. I feel like a greenie so often or I get doing this or that and his words will come to me and I'm so grateful. He's been an amazing example to me my whole life and I'm really grateful that he's my brother. I love you Josh.

We ate at the Macphersons' this week and it was so fun! They are an awesome family with crazy strong testimonies. We're so excited to have started making a great relationship with them. We're excited to get the names from Elder Macpherson as well! I wish I had some for him. I'll pray and let you know if I think of anyone.

Well we're about out of time but I love you all. The Lord is amazing. When we really take time and pray and study he opens up the scriptures in a whole new way. We've been getting creative and He's inspired us so much with new ways to teach. We taught a lesson about obedience from the perspective of miracles and it went so well! We LOVE all the people we work with! We are so grateful for their willing hearts and for their desire to come unto Christ. Never forget the less actives. Reach out to them.

Funny quote of the week. A less active/recent convertish said in Gospel Principles said "Thank God for God." So true Bernie, so true.

Je vous aime!

Sister Tribe

Hello fellow missionary moms,
This is Sister Macpherson from Montreal. I just wanted to let you know that we shared dinner with your daughter and her companion this evening.  They are amazing daughters of Heavenly Father and such an inspiration to my daughter Olivia.  Thank you for raising such sweet young women who have such beautiful testimonies and a wonderful spirit about them.  I pray that your families are being blessed as much as ours is.  Montreal is a better place because they are here.   Jilleen Macpherson
This family's son is serving here in Ogden. She sent me a picture of Kimmy she took while she was over having dinner this week.  I'm feeding her son on Tuesday. It's fun that we can take care of each others missionaries.
