Well, what do we do now?‏

So today as we were driving over to the Library to do emails we got a call from the Zone Leaders. We answer and they say, "Hey Sisters, are you ready for your transfer call?"

"Ha ha Elders. Yeah, lay it on us. Where are we going?"

"Well only one of you is leaving."

"Oh yeah, where are they going?" We're still thinking its a joke.

"Sister Hernandez is getting moved to Ville Marie (downtown). So after studies on Wednesday you'll be driving her and her stuff down there."

We lost it. "What? What do you mean?! Are you serious? Why?! Oh Sister Hernandez! She can't go! Ah! We're doing a mini mission with our recent convert who ONLY speaks Spanish this week. What are we going to do?!?!" Dun dun! Haha I guess we'll figure it out.....?

What could be worse. Surprise transfer calls.

And Sister Murdoch goes home at the end of this transfer. So I'm going to be left here all by myself. Dun dun dun.

I hope my next companion speaks French. Haha

So I don't even know what to say right now.

So Toph is 19. And Endowed. And going on a mission. That's pretty cool and super weird.

......

Who knew we all grew up.

.....

And people are having babies.

....

....

And getting married.

I think its safer to stay on the mission forever. There are too many weird (wonderful but weird) things going on at home.

I don't even know what to say. Haha

So sometimes on the mission, weird things just start happening to your body. Like all the sudden you develop an allergy or you break out in a rash or your eye lids start peeling like crazy for no reason. Apparently these are normal things in missionary life. Why? I don't know. The adversary trying to stop us? Maybe. Being in a new country, eating new food, in a new environment, in an apartment that has secret mold in the bathroom that the landlord doesn't want to take care of properly? Much more likely. Haha C'est la vie! I guess its all just part of the experience. And the stress. Stress makes everything worse. My advice to all future and current missionaries is to take vitamin C everyday, do not let the members over feed you and exercise. And just be willing to except the fact that weird things are going to happen. Haha

Ok, let me think of a cool spiritual story.

So I might have shared this last week. I can't remember. One day we were on exchanges with Sister Rios and we had so many Spanish appointments. Well we passed by this semi active Sister who is the nicest. We got talking to her and I was a little frustrated with myself because I wasn't saying anything because I didn't know how to say it in French. I said a little prayer in my head and just said, "Ok Heavenly Father. I don't speak well and I'm sorry for that. I haven't been talking because I get embarrassed when people don't understand what I'm trying to say. Please just bless me with the words to say as I act in faith and open my mouth." The Sister had been going through a hard time, shared that her kids are all less active right now and that her husband had told her that he didn't really want to go to Church any more. I just opened my mouth and just told her that Heavenly Father was proud of the efforts she was making. He loves her and her family and that He wants them to be together forever. I promised her as a representative of Jesus Christ that as she continued to push forward and be an example to her family that the Lord would bless them. I said it completely wrong, I said "her" instead of "your" and it wasn't conjugated right, but the Spirit was in the words because it was the words that the Lord needed said. She felt what was intended in my garbage attempt at French. She knew what the Lord needed her to know. It was a miracle.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn humility and to rely on the Lord more.

I love you all! I hope you all have a safe week! Josh, Cami and Toph - have fun in the Caymen Island. Say hi to Vai for me.

God lives. He loves us. Pray to Him.

Je vous aime!
