Lettre hebdomadaire‏ (letter Weekly)

Hey Fam,

I always forget to start this earlier. Here are the highlights, reader's digest version:

My district leader, Elder Durane, knows Jarrahlee Hurrell. So cool. And crazy. The world is so small in the Church.

At our weekly service project, helping out at an assisted living place in the arts and crafts class, we are doing paper mache. Its lots of fun. And messy.

We got transfer call, we're staying. Both of us. This is our 4th transfer together. So strange. So awesome. We might drive each other a little insane this next 6 weeks but in the best way. Haha

Mary, our investigator, came to church. All by herself. She came late to sacrament and left right afterwards but she came. Cool! She also reads the Book of Mormon when she's stressed or sad. Now if only she'd let us really teach her the lessons......

Elder Johnson is leaving us. We're so sad! Everyone else in our district is staying the same. This will be 5 transfers Elders Cameron and Durane have been together. So crazy. Elder Williams will be receiving Elder Anderson, who was in the MTC with me. We'll see how that all goes! We are determine to make Elder Williams our friend. We got Elder Johnson in the end but Elder Williams is still holding back. We'll get him.

This week is our returning member Linda's birthday. We love Linda! We are going to make her dinner and a cake and celebrate in style. We might splurge and get Chinese takeout. We'll see.

We love the members. One of them, well she goes to YSA, Ashley came out with us this week. We just went around and tried to invite some less actives to the women's conference. She is putting in her papers so we're so excited for her!

Women's conference - we watched it in Spanish......with English subtitles. Our LA Italia came and she doesn't speak a  lick of English so we set her up in another room to watch it and we couldn't just leave her in there by herself so we put on the subtitles and watched with her. We love her. She fell asleep. Haha She's darling. Cool miracle. A member of the bishopric came in and she was trying to ask him something and I totally understood what she was asking! Gift of tongues! At this rate, my Spanish might be as good as my French when I get home. No really. :)

Well, love you heaps! We should be writing letters today so, watch for them! Sarah D and Jess, write me back. Kwin, write me. Kristin, you too. Everyone else, you have your agency. Haha Naw, its a busy time of year. I know.

Christ means our Deliverer. I know Jesus is the Christ - our Deliverer from sin, from death, pain and all that is unfair in this world. Love you!

These little nasty bugs have been popping up in our apartment the last couple of week. I don't like them.
