I always forget‏

Hey family!

I always forget to start this email sooner. Sorry about that!

Ok so this week we said goodbye to Elder Johnson. We're going to miss him. But we said hello to Elder Anderson! He's different then Elder Johnson but I know we are going to love him.

We celebrated our Less Active/Returning Member's birthday with her this week. Linda! We love her. We also did some Zumba with her and I really loved it. A lot. Gonna get into that when I get home.

We got to eat dinner at Sarah's house!! We love Sarah and her family so much! She is the one who let us Skype home from her house last Christmas. She's just the best. There are some people I meet on my mission that make me want to move back here after so I can be their friend still. She's one of them.

Conference was amazing. I love it so much. Putting into practice what I learned from Elder Ballard I wanted to share something I loved from my study of Preach My Gospel today.

Chapter 1 "My Purpose" pg. 11 "Remember This" box bullet number 3

"Your calling gives you authority; keeping your covenants gives you power."

Hello! When God gives us a calling (be it missionary, teacher, mother, father, home teacher, visiting teacher, etc.) that's us getting His authority to do that calling. BUT when we keep our covenants that's when we receive the POWER to accomplish the tasks placed before us. Like keeping the commandments, taking Christ's name upon us, and always remember Him, brings power from heaven down on us! What a beautiful promise. I love Heavenly Father. 1 Nephi 3:7.

And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I awill go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no bcommandments unto the children of men, save he shall cprepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.

When God gives us a commandment, calling, or task, He also provides a way for us to accomplish it AS LONG AS we are willing to listen to Him and obey the promptings we receive.

I love you all so much! Our Father is watching over us. I loved that last bit President Monson said in his finally talk. God is personal. He is YOUR Father. What a special title. He encouraged us to know how close He is willing to come and how far He is willing to go for us. I know that's true. We just need to invite Him in through our faithful actions.

I love you!

Saying goodbye to Elder Johnson (far left). Last Kirkland photo! The little girl is our recent convert Stephanie's daughter. We love her.

-Side note- since Elder Johnson has left Elder Williams has become our friend more. I knew it was only a matter of time.... :)

Celebrating our recently returning member Linda's birthday! We love her. She's our Montreal Mama.

We went out to breakfast with the Sister Training Leaders before Zone Training Meeting. We went to this place called Cora's that I have been wanting to go to since Ottawa. It was so GOOD! I miss going out to breakfast with the family. Moore's is calling my name.......
I ordered a crepe and it was HUGE! It had fruit and English cream....I'm obsessed with English cream.

This pretty well sums up our district and last 4.5 months.
