Well Sister Berry and I are back to the Apple Store for our emails. The Church computers are in need of being updated so we were asked not to use them this week. Hopefully the tech guy will be able to come this week and get things up and going so we can email in peace....and without feeling like a weirdo standing in the Apple Store for an hour. :)
Ok! Cool things to share! One, the Bible videos are so cool. biblevideos.lds.org check cet la. They are super cool.
Two, as Sister Berry and I were watching the video where Peter and John heal the man outside the temple I yelled out "PETER IS JOSEPH SMITH!!!" Because he is. In the videos the same actor who played Joseph Smith in the "Prophet of the Restoration" movie plays Peter in the Bible Videos. He's so good.

Scroll down to the section that reads "Collection" and scroll to the right and BAM! There we are! If you click on it, it's the cover photo for the "Family and Addiction Resources" and if you click on that we're the cover photo for "Family Conversations: Talking about Healthy Sexuality". What could be better?
Sidenote, I discovered we were on there as Sister Berry and I were trying to find the Bible Videos through that website to show a family. I saw it and yelled, "Hey! That's my dad!" Way to go Big Papa. We're famous....presque(almost). I then showed them Big Papa's photo in the special Ensign about the Temple.
Ok, in all the craziness, we shared with that family the family mission plan. Never heard of it? Ask the missionaries. Or I might just send you one because they are super cool. So we reinvited this family to invite four people a year to receive the missionary lessons (See Elder Ballard's talk Conference April 2014) https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2014/04/let-your-faith-show?lang=eng
One of the daughters, Kimberly (right?), really took to heart what we said and the idea of replacing her fear with real faith rang true. She had a friend she has wanted to introduce the gospel with for about a year. Three hours after we had left their home we got a phone call from her and she had put her faith into action and invited her friend to take the missionary lessons! YAY! Best part, SHE ACCEPTED!!!!! We have an appointment next week and we are thrilled! We are so happy for her to have this opportunity to invite her friend to come closer to Christ and share more fully of His love and peace. The field is white! (D&C 6:3) People are ready for this. We just have to act in love and trust that God is truly helping us prepare them. We are those preparatory angles. (Alma 13:24) YOU can help people feel of Their love for all of God's children. What could be better?
Well our time is just about up. I just want to share my testimony of Jesus Christ in closing. He lives. How great it is to know He came, died and rose again. He loves us. Share His love with all others.
