So I have so good stories for you today. I hope I remember them.
First, le moffette.
So now that there are only Sisters in this ward we get to take care of the members everywhere. Well, some of the members live so so far away. Like out in the middle of no where. Like Delta, UT status. So we go to a lovely dinner at our ward mission leaders house in a place called St. Lin. After dinner, we wanted to pass by another member's house who recently started coming back to church, Sister Darche. So we go to Sister Darche's house, which is in the middle of nowhere, and we talk to her. She shows us all her really cool art work. Starts telling us about how she decided to come back to church because she's been reading Jesus the Christ. How cool is that?! Her brother told her to read it.
Anyways. We're sitting in her little study room and her dog walks in and comes up close to us and then turns around and walks away. Then, it hits us. We all start smelling something. There is a vent at our feet so she starts thinking there is something on fire in the garage. But nope not that. We search the house. We're running room to room and then we head back to the study room. The smell lingers. We share a message with her and then we go to leave when we see the dog. Then we piece it together. The smell. The wet dog. It could be nothing but a moffette. Or as we anglophones call it - a skunk.
We ran from the house and then we get to take a nice 45 min car ride home. We get home and the smell hits the Mascouche Sisters like a wave of garbage. We had to shower immediately! the smell soaked into all of our clothes, even our underclothing. We had to wash everything twice. The next day we go to get into our car. The smell lingered. It was farrel. We used like a whole can of air freshener. We drove with the windows down all day. The smell still lingers on my purse so I've been using Sister Munive's. Its a problem.
We found out there is a thrift store right by us today! Like right by us. Grandma Lassard took us there. :) I bought a peach skirt and a peach blouse. Then I knew I was turning into my mom.
Challenge for the week: Pray for an opportunity to testify of Christ every day this week. Report back.
Love you all so much!
Love,
Soeur Tribe
COSTCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love hot dogs.
We tried to take cute pictures on a bridge slash railroad but they mostly just looked lame.
District pictures
Elder Bybee's birthday. We made him a hat.
Poutine in the rain! Isn't that just the perfect Quebec memory?
We went to visit a member the other day and we found out that this member breeds cats! So they had about 10 kittens at their house. Needless to say, we held them. And asked her to take a picture of us.
The kitten breeder family - They invited their nieces and nephews over and invited us to come a give them a lesson. We did a visual aide and talked about opposition. Funny story, when they invited us over I didn't understand what they were saying when they were explaining that they were going to have some kids there. But later, after a few phone calls we were able to piece together that there would be some non member children. It was awesome. Way to go Gallant family. Missionary work!
Soccer Saturdays! Soccer samedi!
This week our Sister Training Leaders gave us a challenge were everyday we had to do something fun slash girly. Sunday night was facials. We left them on forever because we were waiting for the other Sisters to get off the phone. Then we took some pictures.
