Second Fastest Email of the Mission‏

Bonjour Hello family!

Everyone says that here. Or every place of business says that here. Bonjour hello! Bilinguals.

Ok! So what happened this week?

We visited one particular less active a lot this week. She stopped progressing and we didn't know why. We ended up doing family home evening with her, then our normal weekly visit, gardening Saturday and then when she didn't show up to any of Stake Conference Saturday and Sunday, we went to her house to see what was up. Through some loving gentle talk and such, we discovered that she's been drinking coffee again, she's a little upset at God for some of the things that have been going on in her life and that really, she doesn't have a relationship with Him. Now we have a direction to take our discussion! She needs to develop that personal relationship with Him! It all goes back to that and if you don't have that, everything else falls. That's the base. Principle number one: God is our loving Heavenly Father. We need Him.

Well fun news, we went downtown today. Bishop and Sister Limoges took us to Old Montreal and showed us around. They are the nicest. It was great to get out and do something fun for once too! We are going to try and do more fun things. WE LOVE SUMMER IN MONTREAL!

There was a Canada-wide stake conference this past weekend. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, President Linda K. Burton, President Henry B. Eyring and a member of the Seventy spoke to us. It was SO good! They focused a lot families (of course!). It was so good. How to protect families, how families are the pattern of heavens, and how we are born in families so that we can save our kin! Alma 13:3 tells us that we were prepared from before the earth was so we can save those we are sent here to save. OUR FAMILIES! Beautiful. I love the leaders of our church.

Awe! Well we're out of time. We are off to very quickly get some groceries and off to do some work.

Read the Book of Mormon. Its healing for the soul. We need to be healers, that's what Jeffrey R. Holland said this weekend.

LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! My prayers are with you! I love Baby Vaiola. Super excited for her to be alive. Yay Maegan and Dan! Can't believe Toph is so grown up. Excited for a new adventure for Chase. Lots of prayers!

Love,

Sister Tribe
A giant raccoon almost attacked us as we were coming out of a less active's house the other day. You can see its' glowing eyes as it watches us from the stairs.

Sister Berry and I went to the temple!!!!! Woot woot! It closed Saturday for 15 months for renovations. It was a great day!

Bishop and Sister Limoges took us to Old Montreal today. We climbed the harbour Clock Tower. 200ish steps strait up. Super windy up there and super great view!
Went and saw Notre Dame cathedral today as well. Bishop Limoges was an excellent tour guide. We love our Bishop and Sister Bishop! GREAT DAY!

Cirque du Soleil is in MONTREAL!!!! I saw the tents in Ottawa and they've followed me here. I WANT TO GO!!!!! It started in Quebec, don't ya know. It would only be right to see it in its homeland. $65 a ticket.....any volunteers to pay for two broke missionaries? No? That's ok. It was still exciting to see the tents. :)
